What “We Meet You Where You Are” Really Means...

As you can probably imagine, there’s a LOT that goes on in the background in running this big and growing community.

One of those things is an annual meeting where our team looks at big picture things like vision, mission, big projects for the year...all the things you probably do for your real estate business.

Years ago, we outlined a “Proven Process for Creating Successful Real Estate Entrepreneur” based on my decades of experience watching members join and then either meet their goals or not, and the first step of that process is, “We Meet You Where You Are”.

Over the years, that idea has guided a lot of the programs and decisions you’ve seen here, and it’s a philosophy we go back to over and over as the real estate market, and the economy, and world events, have evolved.

It’s a guiding principle here at COREE, and here’s why it’s so important to you:

1. You are at a unique level in your real estate knowledge and experience, and so we provide education, resources, and support for new, active, and experienced investors to meet your needs NOW, and as you progress in your learning. You’ll always find topics here that you can use to grow your business, no matter how “advanced” you get or how new you are.

2. You’re also going down a certain path in WHAT you want to do: wholesaling, retailing, creative finance, notes, short term rentals, mid-term rentals, growing your retirement plan, and if you’re like most people, you’ll end up doing more than one of those things, but not all. That’s why we have so many exit strategy-related focus groups: so that you can be connected all the time with the folks who are already doing that thing, and the down-to-earth, experienced-based advice you need to get real deals done. It’s also why we have a wide variety of Saturday workshops to meet the more in-depth educational needs of members interested in specific strategies and tactics.

3. Everyone learns differently, and you might get the most value from reading, listening, watching, questioning, doing, or some combination of those. That’s why we produce educational content in writing (quarterly newsletter and the weekly business success blog at COREErocks.com), and via video (our member-only content at the same site), live meetings, online meetings you can catch on the go with Q&A opportunities at all of these meetings.

4. There's also your unique PERSONAL situation: you have challenges and skills that you need to overcome or use to reach the level of success you’re looking for. Our weekly haves and wants meeting gives you the chance to get the help you need and share your skills and resources with others.

5. And, of course, there’s literally where you physically ARE. Lots of our members are from out of state, have young children at home, have health challenges, or find online meetings hard to follow. So we meet you in both places—in person at our live meetings the first week of the month, local Wednesday meetups, monthly chapters in Cleveland, Atlanta and New Smyrna Beach and online at our focus groups, Saturday workshops, and 3rd Thursday National chapter meetings.

We continue to work to find ways to meet you where you are, and we only ask one thing in return: do the same for your fellow members. Help them where you can. Build relationships with members who are both ahead of you in their knowledge and experience, AND who are just getting started. And let us know how we can better help them, and you, get from where you are to where you want to be.
