Virtual Online Meeting!
There are more than $12 trillion worth of mortgage loans and real estate installment contracts in the United States–millions of individual loans. Many of these are actively traded in the secondary mortgage market.
From single mom-and-pop seller carrybacks to large institutional portfolios – the ability to sell mortgage notes allows individual noteholders to move on to new life chapters and institutions to pursue new lending opportunities.
Abby Shemesh is the Co-Founder and Chief Acquisitions Officer at Amerinote Xchange, a firm specializing in loan acquisitions and secondary market funding. He is involved in buy-sell transactions ranging from individual residential seller-financed notes to multi-million-dollar institutional portfolios.
Working at both ends of the spectrum (seller-financed note and institutional) is rare in the note-buying industry, but it has given Abby valuable experience, which he intends to share with us.
Some of the topics we will discuss with Abby:
- A day in the life at note-buying and trading firm such as his
- How he markets to and networks with different types of noteholders to obtain leads
- What he looks for in the different types of notes he buys
- Finding and working with note buyers and sources of capital for notes
- Stories from the trenches
- His view of the industry today
- Opportunities for smaller investors and investors just starting out
This will be a "Q&A" session, so bring your questions. Abby has more than two decades of note-acquisition experience. This is a meeting you don't want to miss.
We'll see you on January 23rd.
